Dr Degoldi is passionate about streamlining the process of family law and access to justice.
With a background in psychology and law, he is dedicated to reforming family law in Canada and Australia.
- trained the first collaborative teams of professionals in collaborative law in Australia
- world first graduate research thesis on collaborative law (Lawyers’ Experiences of Collaborative Family Law, UBC, Vancouver, Canada, ’07)
- worked as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario, and for Public Service of Victoria, Australia
- founding member of the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario, and
- founder of early intake and triage process called Early Neutral Consultation (ENC).
As experienced litigators and negotiators, focus is always on resolution and best outcomes for your family with a combination of mediation, terms of settlement, parenting plans and financial agreements.

In the community, Dr Degoldi sits on various boards and charities, and is active in causes related to inter-faith dialogue, anti-racism and access to justice.
